Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and the name you give your workspace.
• What you tell us about your product: links you paste, descriptions you write, who it's for, and photos you upload.
• Public pages we read for you: when you paste an App Store, Google Play or website link, we read that public page, including its description, screenshots and recent public reviews.
• What you make: briefs, slideshows, captions, pictures, videos and your edits to them.
• Usage records: how many slideshows and AI pictures you make, and what they cost us, so we can show your credits and keep the service sustainable.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and error logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
• Connected social accounts (when you connect one): the account name and the access tokens the platform gives us. See “TikTok, Instagram and other platforms” below.

How we use it

• To run Promoloops: sign you in, store your projects, write briefs and slideshows, make pictures and videos, and let you download or schedule them.
• To send you sign-in links and important messages about your account or the service. We don't send marketing emails without asking.
• To keep Promoloops secure, stop abuse, and fix problems.
• To understand which features are used, in aggregate, so we can improve them.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising. We don't use your content to train AI models.

Who helps us run Promoloops

We use a small number of trusted providers. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job, and processes it on our behalf:

• Supabase: our database and sign-in (your account, projects and slideshows).
• Cloudflare: file storage (your uploads, AI pictures and drawn slides) and our domain.
• Google (Gemini API): writes briefs and slideshows and makes AI pictures. It receives the product details and slide text needed for each request, under Google's API terms.
• Unsplash: stock photo search. We send the search words for a slide, never your personal information. Photos you use are shown from Unsplash and credited to their photographers.
• Resend: sends sign-in emails.
• Our hosting provider: runs the Promoloops website and its background worker.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States. We rely on their standard contractual protections for these transfers.

TikTok, Instagram and other platforms

When you connect a social account, we use the access it grants only to do what you ask: publish or upload the posts you schedule, at the times you choose, with the settings you pick. We store access tokens encrypted and never post without your instruction. You can disconnect an account at any time in Promoloops, and you can also remove our access in the platform's own settings. When you disconnect, we delete its tokens.

We follow each platform's rules for the data it shares with us, including TikTok's and Meta's developer terms.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep Promoloops secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may also keep small notes on your device, such as your last Generate settings or an unsaved draft, so you don't lose work.

How long we keep it

• Your projects, slideshows and uploads: until you delete them or close your account.
• After you close your account: we delete your data within 30 days. Backups that contain it are overwritten within a further 30 days.
• Usage and billing records: as long as the law requires for accounting.
• Security logs: up to 90 days.

Your choices and rights

You can view, edit and delete your projects, slideshows and images in Promoloops at any time. You can also ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it, by writing to hello@promoloops.com. We'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to some processing or to complain to your data protection authority.

Security

Your data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Each workspace's data is kept apart from every other's by access rules in our database. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you promptly.

Children

Promoloops is not for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll email you before they take effect.
